Mario Makeover

We chatted with Upstay's Ryan Stephens to find out about this Mario bedroom makeover, and what custom details he created to make this space come to life! 

By incorporating iconic details from the video game, this Mario room offers an immersive experience for Nintendo fans of all ages.

Custom lighting details were added, like the punch brick block lights, mystery block lights, and the signature green piping that works as track lighting for the space.

We asked Ryan about the room and he told us, "I translated the inspiration derived from the beloved video game into an immersive 3D experience within our residence. Employing shadow boxes and a tunnel system complemented by animated lights and sounds, the result stands as a testament to the fusion of cherished childhood memories and refined design experiences from my time at Universal."
